two tabs at the top of the screen. The first tab - rooms to
rent - is for people looking for a place, and the second tab
- rent your room - is for those are looking to offer rooms
for rent. Once you register and log in, a navigation menu
with links to various sections of the site is displayed
towards the area on the right of the page.
Features
Roombuddies.com requires registration to use its clear and
easy to use features. Registration on the site is free.
However, a free membership only
gives you limited access to
use its features, and configuring your profile offers
provision only for some basic information, contact details,
preferences etc. That being said if you are willing to spend
money on the reasonable fees they’re charging, the more
advanced features and parameters would make it much more
worth your time.
Standard members can read and send messages to premium users
only. Upgrading your membership to “Premium” status allows
you to obtain contact information, send messages to all
members and read messages from any member. Premium
membership status also removes all ads from the site.
The FAQs section and Help pages provided address most of the
queries and doubts users may have about using the site.
RoomBuddies.com also features a number of articles on
flatsharing which can be very informative especially for
people embarking down this road for the first time.
Customer Service
Apart from the FAQs, help pages, and articles, RoomBuddies
offers support through email using their “Contact” page. The
lack of phone support service (number not listed on the
site) leaves a lot to be desired.

The fee is very reasonable when compared to other
flatsharing websites. But then again the amount of
information you can specify and base your search on is
limited too.
Ease of use
The layout of the site is simple and easy to use. The links
toolbar present on every page provides easy navigation to
any part of the site. The pages load quick and first time.
Creating and editing your profile, configuring mail
notifications and message settings are all very quick and
easy to accomplish. The search function is one of the most
easy to use and very convenient.
Effectiveness
RoomBuddies.com has a simple but effective purpose – to
provide a platform for listing and finding rooms – and it
basically delivers. All procedures, be it profile
configuration or choosing and paying for your membership,
are done easily without confusion.
The membership numbers for this site are large enough and
increasing daily and that in turn gives you a very good
